Overview

Valma Ena Lewis, lovingly known as “Val”, passed away on 5 June 2025, aged 94, late of Woolloongabba and formerly of Carseldine, Queensland.

Val was deeply beloved—mother to John and Ken, Nana (Nan-Pan), and great-grandmother. She now joins her late husband Jack, her mother, brothers, and her many cherished cats “up in the clouds.”

She will be remembered for her joyful spirit, love of bubbles, cheese, and cuddling cats.

As per her wishes, no funeral will be held. A memorial service with close family and friends will be arranged later this year. Donations to the RSPCA are welcomed in her memory.
