Overview
Kenneth Walter “Ken” Heard OAM passed away peacefully on 24 June 2025 at Greenslopes Hospital, aged 87. Ken proudly served in the Royal Australian Army for 25 years, including active duty in Malaya, Borneo, and Vietnam (AATTV). He was also the President of the Logan RSL Sub Branch for 14 years and was honoured with the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his service.
Ken is survived by his beloved wife Diane, children Faye, Keith, Jean, Suzanne, and Chad, as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his niece Cheryl. He will be remembered with love and honour by all who knew him.
