Dorothy Stephens passed away on 22 June 2025, aged 92, while residing at Narangba Community Aged Care Centre. Formerly of Aspley and Townsville, Dot was the beloved wife of the late Ray Stephens, mother to Gayle O’Leary and Peter Stephens, and Nana to Allison, Michelle and Stephen. She was also known affectionately as Nana Dot to Georgie, Claire, Jack and Bodhi.

A private cremation has taken place in accordance with her wishes. A memorial church service will be held at St Margaret’s Anglican School at a later date.
